Rules

In the interest of keeping peace and safety among each other some rules are in order. Please keep them so everyone can have a good time.

Please be safety conscious!
Make sure target is clear before drawing bow.
Leave your bow in front of target when looking for lost arrows.
Use caution when approaching shooters ahead of you.
Binoculars allowed but not from stake after shot. Make it quick.
Range finders or stepping off the distance to the target will be allowed only after shot has been taken, for competitive scores. Noncompetitive shooters may use range finders before or after shot as long as they don't turn in their score card or share the distance number with competing shooters.
Allow faster shooters to pass your slower group if target ahead is open.
No alcoholic beverages allowed on range.

There will be five stakes to position shooters for each target. Some portion of your body must contact the stake while making your shot at the target.

The BLUE stakes are for the Challenge shooters. The GREEN stakes are for the Advanced Hunter shooters. The  YELLOW stakes are for the Bowhunter shooters.  The WHITE stakes are for the Traditional and Novice Compound shooters. The Orange stakes are for the Cub shooters.

BLUE - Unlimited distance.  Average distance 37 to 42 yard range.

GREEN - 45 Yard maximum distance. Average distance 32 to 38 yard range.

YELLOW - 40 Yard maximum distance. Average distance 26 to 31 yard range.

WHITE - 30 Yard maximum distance.  Average distance 17 to 22 yard range.

Target scoring will be 11 points for smallest circle, 10 points for larger circle, 8 points for vital area (largest circle) and 5 points for anywhere outside of rings but in the target. Arrow must at least touch line to score.

The x ring will still be marked on the score card as a tie breaker.
